Prism – Geometric Time

Time, reduced to a single shape. Prism strips the watch face down to one idea: a single triangle, constantly reshaping itself against pure black. No numbers. No tick marks. No hands in the traditional sense — just three points in negotiation with each other, redrawing the moment every minute. One point never moves: the center of your wrist, the origin of now. A second point holds close, at 60% of the way to the edge, sweeping a slow, wide arc — a full turn every twelve hours. That's your hour. A third point reaches all the way to the edge of the display, tracing a tight, fast circuit — a full turn every sixty minutes. That's your minute. The distance between them is the whole language. A short, blunt edge for the hour. A long, sharp point for the minute. No labels required — your eye reads proportion faster than it reads digits. The result is a face that never looks the same twice. At 10:10 it's wide and open. At 3:45 it's narrow and taut. At 12:00 it collapses to a single line. Every minute, a new asymmetrical polygon — a private geometry that happens to also tell time. Prism runs on a true black background for maximum contrast and minimal battery draw — on memory-in-pixel displays that means every unlit pixel is truly off, and on AMOLED it means every unlit pixel is truly dark — with a single flat, saturated color for the shape itself, smoothed with anti-aliasing instead of a hard, blocky edge.
