This is identical to our existing watch face (https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/38c13f6f-3f68-4a08-b58b-1e1089292a6f) except this is specific to Dexcom Share as a data source. Dexcom Share's authorization response is not compatible with Garmin's SDK and therefore we must proxy your login request. No data is stored or logged. Requests for data are not proxied. Only 90 minutes of data can be retrieved per request, data cannot be backfilled. This project began as a collaboration between Dana (T1D, xDrip+, OpenAPS, Nightscout, Medtronic, Dexcom G6 user) and John (software developer boyfriend). Dana purchased a Garmin watch to replace her many Pebble watches, but just couldn’t find an existing watch face that provided everything she wanted for viewing T1D data. She sketched out her original idea for a Garmin watch face and John brought it to life using the Garmin SDK. If you enter your username or password incorrectly, you may have to wait up to five minutes after fixing it for data to populate as Garmin limits the watch face to one request every five minutes. Many watches have an extremely limited amount of memory available for requesting data. The majority of development time has been spent making the watch work on these devices.
