Abyss — Dive-Computer HUD Watch Face

ABYSS — a deep-sea dive-computer HUD for your wrist. Inspired by underwater survival games and real scuba/freedive computers, Abyss turns your watch into an abyss-blue PDA readout: thin glowing cyan linework, an amber air-supply gauge, and a sonar ping that sweeps the deep. — FEATURES — • Depth Ring — an outer descent gauge sweeps the bezel as the day progresses (midnight to now), with tick marks and a leading-edge marker. Optionally switch it to track your steps-toward-goal instead. • O2 / Air Gauge — your watch battery is drawn as a draining air-supply tank. Full and healthy reads cyan; as it depletes it shifts through amber to red, just like a real dive computer's caution band. • Dive HUD Readout — a large, easy-to-read clock (12/24h follows your watch setting) anchors a Subnautica-style PDA panel, with a DEPTH line driven by the barometric altimeter (your elevation on land, styled as a dive-depth field), plus compact TEMP and PULSE fields. • Sonar Ping — a subtle cyan ring pulses outward while the face is active, and is disabled in always-on mode to protect your display and battery. • Always-On ready — a dedicated burn-in-safe low-power layout (dim time and thin outlines, no large bright fills) keeps an AMOLED-friendly footprint, with a per-minute pixel shift. • Built for the tactix 8 / Fenix 8 — scales cleanly across both case sizes (51mm and 47mm) and the Fenix 8 Solar panels. Everything is drawn relative to the screen, so it stays crisp on every display. — SETTINGS — • Step Goal Override — set a custom steps target for the depth ring's steps mode (0 uses your watch's own daily goal). All data is read on-device (battery, steps, barometric altitude, weather, heart rate). Abyss requests no permissions and sends nothing off your watch. Surface readings. Dive in.

[1.1.0] - 2026-06-26 Added BODY reserve tank: Body Battery drawn as a second side gauge mirroring the air tank (mint → amber → red), read defensively from SensorHistory. Top weather line: short condition word, current temperature, and today's forecast high/low from Weather.getCurrentConditions(). Sunrise / sunset times: surface-light readout in the top stack, computed from the last-known position with a NOAA-style equation (no live GPS). More data fields: resting heart rate (as a sub-value under PULSE), calories, floors climbed, intensity/active minutes, and stress — each degrading to -- when unavailable. Optional compass HEADING field (off by default) behind a new Show Compass Heading setting; the magnetometer is battery-heavy. Responsive MIP layout: low-resolution Solar panels (280×280 / 260×260) now use the device's bold bitmap fonts and a leaner, well-spaced field set so every value stays legible, while the AMOLED panels keep the dense vector-font HUD. Changed Self-describing gauge labels: the air/battery tank is now BATT (was O2) and the stamina tank is BODY, so the readouts no longer need guessing. Declared the SensorHistory, Positioning, and UserProfile permissions required by the new data sources.
