Trailflow Tracker
· v0.1.15
About
Trailflow Tracker is a Garmin Connect IQ data field for personal live tracking
and supported trail and running events.
How it works:
1. Install the Trailflow data field and add it to a native Garmin activity
profile such as Run or Trail Run.
2. The unpaired data field displays a short device code.
3. Sign in at `https://map.trailflow.no/me`, open Garmin & devices, and enter
the device code shown on the watch.
4. TrailFlow pairs the watch to the signed-in account.
5. Start the native Garmin activity as usual.
6. While the activity is running, Trailflow periodically sends activity points
to the paired TrailFlow account.
7. Stop the native Garmin activity to stop Trailflow uploads.
Race participation is linked to the TrailFlow account in the TrailFlow backend;
the watch does not pair directly to a race participant record.
Trailflow does not replace Garmin activity recording. Start and stop your normal
Garmin activity as usual.
Location and activity type are sent while a paired Trailflow data field is used
in a running activity. Optional heart-rate and power sharing are off by default
and can be enabled separately in the data field settings.
This app requires:
- A TrailFlow account or invite
- A compatible Garmin watch
- Phone or device connectivity that allows Connect IQ web requests
Trailflow is a tracking aid. It is not an emergency service, rescue system,
medical device, or guarantee that a participant can always be located.
Connectivity, GPS conditions, battery level, backend availability, and device
settings can affect upload timing and availability.
