Sextant

This is a widget, based on app of R-Smith (https://apps.garmin.com/apps/9834ef13-f3dd-4997-9060-b0f4a42d72a7) but modified for my needs (maybe you too find these useful). I have added output of all three Eulerian angles (pitch, yaw, roll). Yaw is an azimuth taken from compass readings (be sure to have compass calibrated via compass app, and stay away from magnetic disturbances). When you make a measure of for example celestial body, press the MENU (left middle) button. This will freeze the angles and allow you to read the data. These will also be saved along with timestamp and presented on glance. When you measure some angular height (pitch) you want to have roll = 0, to minimize the error. Please remember that yaw is calculated solely on compass. which readings can change when varying pitch of watch. Additionally there are trigonometric functions of pitch, that you might find useful. v1.0.3 update: ASTRO MODE, where for a last location and "now" astronomical coordinates are calculated for given azimuth and altitude that watch "points" at. Rise, set, transits, their azimtuhs, altitudes and times are presented the same manner as in StarCalc.
