A digital watch face split down the middle in silver and navy, with the crowned monogram at the top and a white band running down from it. The clock carries no colon and no longer needs one. The hour and the minute sit one above the other, stepped across the dial and set in a bold italic — the hour in the crest's gold, the minute in white, each over its own shadow. Colour is what tells them apart. The date stands down the left-hand side in two lines: the day and the month above, the weekday below. Everything else the face writes is white — the date, the two readings, the gauge and the wordmark. The ring round the outside takes the gold instead, so the hour and the goal read as the two accents on a white face. Under the clock, your calories and your step count. At the right-hand edge, the battery as five dots and a reading. When it falls to a fifth, the last dot and the number both turn that same gold: the gauge sits on the navy half, where gold measures nine to one and red barely three. The always-on display keeps the clock and drops everything else — dimmed, and drifting a few pixels each minute so no pixel carries a stroke for long. Nothing else to set up.
