Metric Ultra

Metric Ultra is a clean, data-focused watch face designed for training, outdoor activities and everyday use. It combines essential training, recovery, health, environmental and system information in a compact monochrome layout designed for quick readability and low visual clutter. An exclamation mark appears next to the thermometer to indicate that the displayed value is wrist/device temperature rather than outdoor temperature. Altitude: Metric Ultra displays the current altitude directly on the watch face together with a compact mountain icon for quick outdoor reference. Charging Visualization: The battery icon automatically changes when charging is detected. On supported Solar models, solar charging activity is additionally indicated by a solar symbol when sufficient solar intensity is detected. Adaptive Device Layout: Metric Ultra includes dedicated layout adjustments for different supported Instinct screen sizes, including the compact 40 mm Instinct E display. System status indicators are dynamically centered depending on how many indicators are currently active. Power Efficient Data Updates: Metric Ultra is optimized to reduce unnecessary system and complication requests. Steps, battery data, charging status, solar information, recovery data, health metrics, temperature, altitude, date and other system information use a controlled 60-second update cycle, while the digital and analog clocks remain current. The goal of Metric Ultra is simple: provide as much useful information as possible at a glance while keeping the interface clean, readable and efficient.
