Connectivity Dots

Connectivity Dots publishes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection status as compact Connect IQ Complications for compatible Garmin watch faces. It was built for a simple reason: after some Garmin updates, a watch may silently lose its phone or Wi-Fi connection. If your phone is muted and you rely on your watch for call notifications, that is easy to miss. The app publishes three complication values: Connectivity Dots: BT+ WiFi+, BT+ WiFi-, BT- WiFi+, or OFF Bluetooth: BT+ or BT- Wi-Fi: WiFi+ or WiFi- BT+ means the watch is connected to the phone over Bluetooth. BT- means the Bluetooth/phone connection is unavailable or problematic. WiFi+ means Wi-Fi is available or connected. WiFi- means Wi-Fi is unavailable, disconnected, unsupported, unknown, or disabled in app settings. OFF is shown only by the combined Connectivity Dots field when both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are unavailable/problematic. By default, the app refreshes every 15 minutes. It does not enable, disable, pair, or repair Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It only reads the current watch status and publishes simple text values for watch faces that support Connect IQ Complications. Appearance, layout, font, colors, and text clipping are controlled by the watch face displaying the complication.
