Your Garmin watch becomes a Tesla key. Tesla Key talks straight to your car over Bluetooth, the same way a key card does. No phone in your pocket, no cell service, no internet — the watch and the car handle it between themselves. WHAT IT DOES • Press to unlock or lock, right from the watch • Open the frunk and the trunk • Live status on screen: which doors are open, locked or unlocked • Optional: unlock automatically when you open the app • Walk away and the car locks itself, using Tesla's own Walk-Away Door Lock HOW IT WORKS Pair once. The app generates a key on your watch and you approve it on the car's screen, exactly like adding a key card. The key stays on the watch — it is never sent anywhere. After that the watch reconnects on its own every time you come back to the car. Physical buttons control the car directly: UP opens the frunk, DOWN opens the trunk, MENU locks and unlocks Bluetooth range is about 10-15 m, so the car needs to be nearby. Nothing else is required. SETUP 1. Enter your VIN in the app settings in Garmin Connect 2. On the car screen, open Locks and add the watch as a key card 3.
