PaceMaker Race Field
· v0.1.0
About
PaceMaker is a race-pacing planner at https://racepacemaker.com. It creates route-aware Garmin FIT workouts for race execution.
PaceMaker Race Field is a Garmin Connect IQ Data Field for supported devices. It works with a PaceMaker Garmin FIT workout that you generate on the website, send to Garmin, and start inside the native Garmin Run activity.
During the run, the field reads PaceMaker metadata from the loaded workout and shows the current target pace, ahead/behind delta when runner-safe, current cue, remaining step distance, and next-step context.
Current PaceMaker proof evidence is Enduro 3. The package also builds for additional modern Garmin sport-watch targets listed by Connect IQ, but those devices have not been physically validated by PaceMaker yet.
PaceMaker Race Field does not upload workouts, sync your account, replace Garmin Run, control recording, provide Course/navigation guidance, correct official race markers, or install automatically. It works with a PaceMaker FIT workout that you start through Garmin's normal workout flow.
What's new
Initial Connect IQ Store submission for PaceMaker Race Field.
This first version adds a Garmin Data Field that reads PaceMaker workout metadata from a loaded PaceMaker Garmin FIT workout and shows race-day target pace, ahead/behind delta when runner-safe, current cue, remaining step distance, and next-step context.
