TeamCast

TeamCast displays the current race situation on your Edge. The data arrives over Bluetooth Low Energy from a dedicated GPS tracker mounted on the bike. Without that hardware the data field stays empty – this is a display-only field for teams already running the Livetracking system. WHAT IT SHOWS The data field renders a short, pre-formatted line, for example: P3 +0:15 -0:22 #17 Typically this is your position, the gap ahead, the gap behind and your race number. The content is assembled entirely on the sender side – race control decides what appears, the data field passes it through unchanged. Group sizes and gaps between groups can be shown in the same way. SETUP 1. Add the data field to a data screen 2. Switch on the tracker and bring it within range 3. The connection is established automatically The app settings allow an optional tracker ID (e.g. t1, t2). Leave it empty and the data field binds to the first tracker it finds. An entry forces one specific tracker – useful when several bikes are parked next to each other. STATUS DISPLAY Until data arrives, the field shows connection progress: INIT, SCAN, FOUND, CONN, SUB ok. If no tracker is found after roughly 60 seconds, "kein Tracker" appears. NO BLE means Bluetooth is not available on the device.
