About

Data field with 5 individually configurable pace, hear rate and power zones. Train in your individual pace and heart rate or power zones with visual colour display of your current zone as gauge. The data field can also display structured workouts based on power and/or pace. The data field reads pace, heart rate and/or power targets and displays the ranges to visualise your current performance in relation to the training step target zones. Simply run your structured power or pace workouts from TrainingPeaks, Stryd or other providers with this datafield in Run mode. A Target Pacer can also show updated information during the run: - the required pace to finish your distance in planned target time. - the estimated finish time for your total run distance. Two run modes can be selected: PACER/RACE mode: Uses defined target distance and target time to recalculate required pace to finish your distance in target time. Also recalculates and displays your expteded total finish time. E.g. you can set a 2h goal for your half marathon and the pacer indicator will show you the required pace that is needed to finish in time. WORKOUT mode: The datafield shows current workout interval step range. Either power or pace workouts will be shown. Garmin does not currently natively support power as a goal in structured workouts, but it does allow data fields to read structured workout information, including power goals. Each pace/power zone can be configured via settings. The data field shows pace as minutes and seconds per unit distance (kilometer or mile). HR zones are taken from your garmin profile heart rate zone settings. Background color is based on current pace zone range during a run. Data field label also is updated with the name of your current pace zone. Additional color gauge indicates where you are in the current zone and how close the previous/next pace zone is: Used as top field (recommended): * shows a dynamic top-level gauge pointer for pace in current zone, * shows target pacer or workout step pace zones * allows to add a second zone bar to show individual power based zone (Watt or % of FTP/CP) - requires add. power sensor, e.g. Stryd, to be connected Used as other field: * shows a static centered pace gauge with dynamic moving pace zone bars indicating how close the next or previous pace zone is The colored pace field is used for training to stay in a defined pace range based on your individual pace zones. The field can also show a secondary Power Zone. However, only if positioned as top-level or single data field in your layout. You need to have a power sensor connected (e.g. Stryd connected as Power Sensor). Power Zones can be configured via Critical Power (or FTP) level. Each power zone is derived as percentage of CP/FTP as individually defined on the settings. The combination allows to visualize current pace and power zones in one single data field with visual indication and color coding. Allowing to always have pace and power information at hand. The available 5 pace zones can be adjusted to your personal needs. Basic guideline: Info for settings page: Settings for your pace zones must be set as number entering pace in min.sec. Max. decimal fraction is .59. So please just enter your pace in min.sec (use . instead of : ) Leave a review to support the data field.
