About

Fluid watchface graphically displays, how long you are inactive. It ignores the Garmin’s move bar and instead implements its own algorithm. You can specify, how many steps per minute you have to take to reset the activity counter. When you are inactive, the colored part of the clock will start to lose color (green by default) every minute. After 60 minutes, the clock will be empty (white). In this case, Garmin’s move bar would be typically triggered. Another 60 minutes will result in filling the clock back with inactive color (red by default). The watch then stays in this color, unless a sleep is detected – in this case, the clock will change color to white. This provides the best contrast even in low lightning conditions, so the clock can be more easily read during the night. If you take specified number of steps per minute, counter will reset and the clock changes color to active (green). The concept is similar to my another watch face – ActiveDots. You can find detailed description of the functionality on my website: https://www.runveg.cz/2017/12/activedots-connect-iq.html#en Note, that the algorithm here is little bit simplified (you specify only steps per minute, not per two minutes). The watchface is configurable. It provides two screens – the main one, and the second one, which appears only when you look at the watch (turn your wrist). You can configure: - Number of steps required to reset the timer (35 by default) - Active color - Inactive color - Color of other text fields - Up to 2 text fields on the main screen - Up to 4 text fields on the second screen (activated when you look at the device) Text fields currently support: - None (turned off) - Date (short, or long format) - Steps - Step goal in percent - Battery status in percent - Walked distance in km For more of my watchfaces, please check: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/developer/d05bf960-d06a-41a8-a703-39a90cf29216/apps
