Pulse Watch is a minimalist round watch face that shows only the time - until
you interact with it, and then it beats with your actual, live heart rate.
At rest the screen is as simple as it gets: bold digits, centered, white on
black. No seconds hand, no date, no complications, nothing moving - built for
maximum legibility and minimum battery draw. Then tap the screen, raise your
wrist, or just wait for your chosen interval, and the time itself pulses in
size to the rhythm of your current heart rate for a few seconds before
settling back into stillness.
**Highlights:**
- Three independent triggers, each switchable on or off: tap the screen,
raise your wrist, or a configurable interval (every 15 minutes, 30 minutes,
or hour) - combine them however you like, or turn all of them off for a
completely static face
- The pulse itself is driven by your real, current heart rate read at the
moment it's triggered - not a generic animation, and if no heart-rate
reading is available yet it stays still rather than faking a rhythm
- Adjustable pulse duration (3-15 seconds) controls how long each burst
lasts before the face goes quiet again
- Fully battery-conscious by design: outside of an active pulse burst,
nothing animates and nothing polls in the background - the face is exactly
as power-hungry as a plain digital clock
- Adjustable time size (60%-160%) and a choice of three type weights (light,
bold, extra bold), so you can dial in exactly how minimal or bold the face
reads on your wrist
- Clean round-display design, tuned specifically for MIP touchscreen watches
*Note: the pulse only plays while a valid heart-rate reading is available
(the watch needs a sensor lock, which can take a few seconds after putting
the watch on) - this is deliberate, so the animation always reflects a real
reading rather than an assumed one.*
