This app contains FREE and PREMIUM features: . FREE features - Android and iPhone app to create routes - Detailed instructions showing the name of streets etc. - Configurable data screens - Search addresses and routes directly on the watch menu (requires internet connection and are not available for older devices which run CIQ 1.x) . In the free version, the route and instructions will be hidden after 10min or if you are further than 2km from the start. . PREMIUM features - Map image - All free features become unlimited . We will be pleased to help - Please read the user guide - Please watch the video tutorials - The app is only available in English - Map images have the same size as the sample provided within the app. Because of memory limitations, they do not cover all the screen on some devices. - Map images take a few seconds to load (they must be downloaded and sent by the phone). You must have GPS fix and Internet connection to see them. - Please test the free version before you upgrade. Make sure that it works on your phone and that you are able to send routes from the phone to the watch. . Payment and procedure to unlock: The upgrade is sold by Apple's App Store and Goolge's Play Store. They handle the payments and collect taxes. Therefore the prices may vary from country to country. The app requires Bluetooth connection with your phone and Internet access to download the maps and routes. Once a route has been downloaded or sent from the phone to the watch, you do not need to be connected anymore. But the map images will only be shown if you are connected. . The activities recorded by Maps r.485 are uploaded and displayed on your Garmin Connect dashboard in the same way as the ones recorded by the native apps. It has no effect on the data and on how the activities are recorded. This is completely done by the recording module of the device. . Route recommendations may be incomplete and/or inaccurate, and may contain sections of private land and/or sections of terrain that could be challenging or hazardous. Always use your best judgement about the safety of the road and trail conditions and follow traffic and property laws.
