greenphosphor
· v1.2
About
A tiny terminal on your wrist. Everything on this face is made of
characters — including the time.
greenphosphor renders your watch as a shell session in a monospaced
grid: a prompt up top, the date as output, the time as hand-tuned
FIGlet ASCII art, your metrics as [####...] progress bars, and a
blinking cursor at the bottom. No images, no widgets — just text,
the way terminals intended.
MAKE IT YOURS
• Three progress bars — pick from Steps, Intensity Minutes, Body
Battery, Floors, Watch Battery and Pulse Ox (only metrics where a
progress bar actually means something)
• Two compact readouts below the bars — any of eighteen metrics:
heart rate, calories, resting HR, VO2 max, recovery time,
respiration, pulse ox, altitude, battery days, sunrise, sunset and
a "next sun event" that shows whichever comes next
• Four phosphors: Green (the classic), Amber, Paper and Ice
• Everything above is changeable right on the watch (hold the face →
customize) — no phone needed; the same settings are also in Garmin
Connect
ALSO
• 12 h and 24 h clock, following your device setting
• Extremely battery-friendly always-on display: just the dim ASCII
time, with burn-in protection (about 1.5% of pixels lit)
• Works fully offline — no phone, no account, nothing leaves your
watch
• Permissions: sensor history reads Body Battery, pulse ox and
altitude; user profile reads resting HR and VO2 max — nothing leaves
the watch

What's new
Fixed: the date now displays correctly on watches set to any language.
Fixes a crash on vivoactive 5 and vivoactive 6 (face showed only the IQ logo). Floors shows '--' on watches without a barometer.
