About

Run Performance transforms your running screen into a clear and comprehensive dashboard, designed to display all the essential information at a glance. The goal: spend less time navigating between screens on your watch and more time focusing on your run.

What's new

Data Displayed • Current pace with visual color indication • Average pace since the start of the activity • Heart rate with circular gauge and HR zone • Distance covered • Activity duration • Estimated finish time for the target distance • Progress bar toward the target distance • Remaining distance • Cadence in steps per minute • Time ahead or behind your target Pace Management Your current pace is displayed clearly and prominently. A color-coded system lets you quickly understand how your current pace compares with your defined goal. Pace smoothing can be customized using three modes: Responsive, Normal, or Stable. This allows you to adapt the display behavior to your type of run, from a highly responsive pace for frequent speed changes to a more stable reading for long runs and races. Heart Rate Monitoring A circular gauge provides a visual representation of your heart rate zones. A cursor shows your current position within the zones, allowing you to assess your effort level at a glance without relying solely on the BPM value. Heart rate zone limits can be customized in the Run Performance settings to match your individual physiological profile. Race Goal Set your target distance and finish time. Run Performance automatically calculates the target pace used by the application, your progress, remaining distance, estimated finish time, and how far ahead or behind you are compared with your goal. Quick presets are available for common race distances: 5K, 10K, 20K, Half Marathon, and Marathon. A custom distance can also be configured for other races or training goals. These metrics provide three complementary perspectives on your run: your current pace, your accumulated position relative to your goal, and your projected finish. Designed to Be Read While Running The interface prioritizes large values, high contrast, a clear visual hierarchy, and a limited number of metrics. Essential information can therefore be understood at a glance while running. Run Performance is particularly suited to endurance runs, tempo sessions, long runs, and road races. Customization Key parameters can be adjusted in the app settings, including race distance, target finish time, custom distance, pace smoothing level, and heart rate zone limits. Important: Run Performance is a Connect IQ Data Field designed to be used within a compatible running activity. Available information depends on the data and sensors supported by your watch.
