About

**Important** SENTYEH gear display is experimental. For first use, enable SENTYEH Electronic Shifting, select the cassette gear count, hold the rear derailleur pairing button, and open RidePanel. It reconnects automatically after the first successful connection, with no device name to enter. For SRAM AXS or Shimano Di2, pair the shifting system with your Edge as usual and leave SENTYEH Electronic Shifting disabled. RidePanel uses the gear data provided by the Edge and shows `--` when no compatible shifting data is available. If SENTYEH is enabled but not paired, existing SRAM or Shimano gear data still works, but RidePanel continues searching for a SENTYEH device. Shimano Di2 battery and SENTYEH gear features use Bluetooth. If other sensors disconnect frequently, turn off any electronic-shifting features you do not need in RidePanel settings. RidePanel brings your essential cycling data into one clear, stable nine-panel dashboard. A large primary panel highlights the metric that matters most, while eight configurable panels keep supporting information visible. Each panel can be configured independently for training, commuting, or long-distance rides. Speed, power, heart rate, cadence, and grade can change color with your current intensity. The gear panel also highlights drivetrain position: either cassette extreme is red, the adjacent gear is yellow, and other valid gears are green. On a double chainring, big-ring/small-cog and small-ring/big-cog combinations are also red. A quick glance gives you useful context without requiring you to study every number. Key features: - One primary panel and eight configurable panels - Automatic, light, and dark themes - Dynamic colors for speed, power, heart rate, cadence, grade, and gear - OpenWeather wind-direction arrow with Beaufort `B0-B12` colors - Configurable cycling FTP - Heart-rate colors based on either `%LTHR` or `%HRR` - Metric and statute units - Low-battery alerts for power meters, SRAM AXS, Shimano Di2, and SENTYEH rear derailleurs - Experimental live rear-gear data for SENTYEH RD-ES800, with automatic discovery and support for 1-14 sprockets - Saves front and rear gear data supplied by the Edge for SRAM/Shimano, or by a connected SENTYEH system, for viewing in Garmin Connect - Stable layout when activity data is unavailable Available metrics: - Speed: current, average, and maximum - Power: 3-second average, average, and maximum - Heart rate: current, average, and maximum - Cadence: current, average, and maximum - Ride: distance, timer, elapsed time, and grade - Elevation: total ascent, total descent, and current elevation - Weather: wind direction (OpenWeather with Garmin Weather fallback) - Device: calories, battery, clock, and front-rear gear Setup: RidePanel is a full-screen data field. Add it to an activity data page that contains a single data field. Split-screen layouts do not display the complete dashboard. Wind direction can use Garmin Weather or your own OpenWeather API key. OpenWeather updates require GPS and a connected phone with internet access. Location is used only to retrieve local weather. SENTYEH gear and battery data is processed on the Edge and is not uploaded directly by RidePanel. Valid front and rear gear values are saved to the activity and sync with it to Garmin Connect; other raw SENTYEH Bluetooth data is not recorded. Power, gear, and some training-zone values require compatible sensors or a correctly configured cycling profile. FTP and heart-rate values can also be entered in settings. Dashboard labels are in English; app settings are available in English and Simplified Chinese. Supported devices: Edge 530, 540, 550, 830, 840, 850, 1030, 1030 Bontrager, 1030 Plus, 1040, 1050, and Edge MTB. Supported ANT+ profiles: Bike Power and Shifting. RidePanel is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially partnered with any brand mentione
