If you use this watch face you must post a review ┏━┓ ︵ /(^.^/) Just kidding, but would appreciate it though Ko-fi support is super welcome (っ◕‿◕)っ https://ko-fi.com/robindev But what would really help me a lot is if you share it to your friends or social media - Colors and shapes can be changed for each element - Alternating datafields by double wrist gesture - Up to 24 datafields with over 45 options (every possible option available) - Different time and date formats, world time etc. - Garmin weather and Open weather map - Super fast and low battery usage on every watch including Instinct! Instructions: Indicators below time represent: left 4 bars: Bluetooth, Notifications, Alarms, DnD right 4 bars: Battery 0 to 20%, 21% to 50%, 51% to 80%, Above 80% All settings can be changed from within the Connect IQ app by going to settings button on the WF screen. Always show seconds setting if disabled will only show seconds when watch is awake. If enabled the seconds will always show. Settings like time 12 or 24 hour format and distance units etc are all settings in your normal watch system settings. Only units for air pressure and wind speed are set in the settings screen itself. Datafields: First setup how many datafields you want to show on each row, then the order of datafields 1,2,3 etc is from top left to bottom right. So for example if you set top row to 2 datafields then datafield 1 and datafield 2 settings are for top row, but if you set top row to 1 datafield then datafield 1 setting is for top row and datafield 2 setting will be first one on next row. On Instinct watches the Circle is the last row (row 5) so the last datafields are the ones in the circle. Alternate datafield types show by making your watch go to sleep and immediately waking it up again. (second wrist gesture within 3 seconds) Alternate fields will temporarily show until watch goes to sleep again. If you don't want a field to alternate just set the alternate type to the same as the main type. Weather icons are dynamic on temperature setting (rain, cloudy, sunny etc). Air pressure has an arrow at the end representing the trend. **ACTIVE CALORIES PLEASE READ** Garming doesn't provide an interface to read the value calculated in their own widget so I have to do my own calculation for this.I am using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula for this based on calculating what your base (resting) calories burned should be based on your weight, age, length etc. and then comparing with total calories burned so far. Garmin obviously uses a bit different calculation in their own widget which I have no clue what that is. So its possible the active calories number in my watchface is different from the one in Garmin's widget. But Active calories is an estimation anyways and not exact science. It's more of a general indicator of how active you are compared to how many calories you burn anyways by you know just being alive :D But yeah in the end of the day its just an estimation because in reality there is no way to really meassure the exact calories you are burning and you should more take it as an indication for how active you are in general. But don't take any numbers below 200 too serious. See it more as something like anything below 1000 means you probably should get your ass to the gym (like me everyday, sad :/ ) This is true for both Garmins calculation as well as mine. This is just a hobby project of mine as I'm giving this WF away for free. Have been very busy with my actual job as a developer and tbh its kind of burning me out a little bit to maintain multiple development projects. I also have another hobby as photographer and that has been on a low effort since a while too as I just feel pretty tired every day. So that's why I have stepped back a little on my hobby projects. But hopefully when work gets a bit less hectic I have some more energy again, but as of now I don't see it happening soon. I also haven't been very active to respond to every E-mail and review and donations etc as I'm getting these daily, but I just want you guys to know I do read them all and you are not sending anything into the void! This is just a small update: - Added an afterglow option, where you can sort of get that afterglow effect you typically see with the oldschool LCD displays - Increased status icons font a little bit - Few bug fixes - Changed default settings when you fresh install the watch face My Ko-fi page for donations is still open and would still help me a lot to get more Garmin watches to test my work on for in the future when I get some more time and energy to work more actively again on my watch faces. https://ko-fi.com/robindev 9.10.20 As per community request the spacing for the number 1 in datafields is now bigger 9.10 - Fixed saving settings on Instinct 2(x) watches - Battery icon now represents battery status in 5 stages (above 90, 60 to 90, 30 to 60, 10 to 30, below 10) - Datafields now can also have only an icon, for example if you want just the weather icon from weather temperature but not the number :) You might need to reconfigure which datafields show icons as I went from on/off to 3 options (info only, icon+info, icon only) - Datafield font can now also be italic - Added another optional line - Fixed OWM weather icon not updating 9.9 Added option for middle background border color Added 2 more larger font options for datafields for who needs it :) Small performance update for Instinct when loading up WF 9.8 Performance fixes for Instinct series + I added a little suprise :D 9.7 - OWM now does rain chance too instead of stupid MM - Performance and bug fixes You might need to configure line and square colors again. 9.6 - Seconds now has 3 options: Always on, On when awake, Completely off (time will go to centre), for those of you who like maximum battery life! 9.5 - On Instinct watches you can now choose between the current layout and the new one I introduced earlier which I personally prefer! - The status icons above the seconds are now smaller ones to be more like how the little icon is above the seconds on the G-shocks watches :)
