About

Everything the watch knows, on one screen, without leaving your local time behind. HUB2 Cockpit is a dense watch face built the way the most installed faces on the store are built: the time owns a third of the screen, every metric is an icon and a number on a single line, and nothing writes out the name of a metric to steal the room the digits need. WHAT YOU SEE Time in 24-hour format, hours in white, minutes in the HUB2 orange Date and the HUB2 mark Sunrise and sunset, computed from the weather observation point Temperature, heart rate, Body Battery, unread notifications Two cities of your choice, with their local time Steps, calories, watch battery A split ring around the dial: right half your step goal, left half your Body Battery FIVE LAYOUTS, ONE FACE The same content, five arrangements. Change your mind from your phone at any time, with no reinstall. Cockpit Pro - the readable density, and the default Cockpit - instrument dial, tick ring, two goal arcs, week strip Board - four cities as a departures board Radar - cities placed around the ring at their own hour Terminal - two columns of metrics, no ornament TIME ZONES THAT NEVER DRIFT 47 cities to pick from. Each city time is derived from real coordinates, so daylight saving is applied on its own, year after year. There is no offset to enter and nothing to correct twice a year. ONE PERMISSION, AND IT IS THE ONE THAT PAYS Heart rate, steps, calories, floors, intensity minutes, stress, weather and sunrise are all read without asking for anything. The single permission, Complication Subscriber, unlocks what Garmin computes and exposes nowhere else: Body Battery. Comparable faces ask for seven. ALWAYS-ON When the screen stays lit, the face drops to muted colours with no filled shapes at all - time, date and your two cities. On an AMOLED panel a black pixel is an unlit pixel, so this is what keeps the display and the battery alive. SUPPORTED WATCHES fenix 8 (43, 47 and 51 mm), fenix 8 Pro (47 and 51 mm, MicroLED included), fenix 8 Solar (47 and 51 mm), epix (Gen 2), epix Pro (Gen 2) 47 mm, quatix 7 Sapphire, quatix 7 Pro, quatix 8, quatix 8 Pro, tactix 8, tactix 8 Solar. SETTINGS Cities and layout are set from the phone: Garmin Connect, Devices, your watch, Connect IQ, Watch Faces, HUB2 Cockpit, Settings. Watch faces cannot show a menu on the watch itself - that is a Connect IQ rule, not a shortcut taken here. GOOD TO KNOW Body Battery needs a watch that computes it and a night of wear before it reads anything. A dash instead of a number is normal behaviour, not a defect. The same goes for temperature, which comes from the weather sync and needs the phone to have connected at least once. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent anywhere. Every value is read on the watch and drawn on the watch. HUB2 is the mobile money payment infrastructure for francophone Africa - hub2.io
