About
Send your Suviard routes to your watch, follow them and, when you finish, the activity shows up in Suviard on its own.
Pick a route in the Suviard mobile app, tap "Send to my Garmin" and it appears on the watch. When you open it, you choose how to do it:
• Follow and record — the watch records the activity while guiding you on the map (on models with maps) with the route drawn on top, zoom and off-route alerts. When you stop and save, the activity is uploaded to Suviard automatically, named after the route you followed. No need to keep your phone recording.
• Watch navigation — the route is saved as a course and Garmin's native navigation starts, with turn prompts, off-course alerts and ClimbPro on supported models. In this mode the activity is not uploaded to Suviard, because the watch closes the app when it opens its own navigation.
How it works
1. Open this app on your watch: it shows a six-character code.
2. Enter it in the Suviard mobile app, under Settings › My watches.
3. Send any route from your phone and open it on the watch.
You only pair once.
About uploading to Suviard
• "Follow and record" does not replace the watch's own recording: your activity is saved on the watch and goes to Garmin Connect as always, heart rate and all.
• What goes to Suviard is the track (position, altitude and time). The activity is published on your profile and counts towards your kilometres.
• If you head out without your phone, the track is kept on the watch and uploaded the next time you open the app with a connection.
• On watches without maps (Forerunner 165/255/265, Instinct…) the route is shown as a track on a plain background, with your position and the off-route alert.
What you need
• A Suviard account and the mobile app installed.
• Garmin Connect on your phone: it is how the watch reaches the internet.
• A watch that supports courses.
You can unlink the watch at any time from the mobile app; access is revoked immediately.

What's new
Version 1.2.0
• New: "Follow and record". The watch records the activity and, when you finish, uploads it to Suviard on its own, named after the route.
• New: native Garmin map with the route on top, zoom and panning (on models with maps). On the rest, the track is drawn on screen.
• New: off-route alert with vibration.
• If you head out without your phone, the track is kept on the watch and uploaded once you are back in range.
• Routes are listed by their real name.
• Now compatible with 76 watches, including the whole fēnix 8 range, Instinct 3, Forerunner 570/970 and MARQ.
• New icon.
• Several fixes: crashes when pressing START repeatedly, a frozen screen when going back from the list, and a case where a different route than the one selected was opened.
