Skeleton Tourbillon - Real Mechanical Movement

A skeleton watch face: the whole movement is open under the dial. Raise your wrist and it starts running. WHAT IT DOES - The gearing: eleven wheels with the tooth counts of a real movement, and 480:1 from the barrel to the tourbillon cage. The barrel turns once in eight hours, the hour wheel once in twelve. - The rate: after a wrist raise the movement ticks eight times a second, 28,800 an hour. The hands move in steps. - Flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock: the cage turns once a minute and its pointer marks the seconds. - Always-on display: the movement stays as dim line art on black, every wheel at the angle the current time implies. On a wrist raise it fades up into the lit dial. - The metals: gilt brass, blued steel and rhodium, with ruby jewels in gold chatons. Each wheel has a highlight, each bridge a soft shadow. - Two gauges you choose: Body Battery, stress, watch battery, step goal, weekly intensity minutes, floors climbed or Pulse Ox. Each one shows its own icon, and a long press opens that app. - Five colorways: rose gold, blued steel, rhodium, salmon and jade. The color applies to the movement; the gilt chapter ring and applied indices stay the same. - Sized for your watch: the dial is rendered separately for every screen size. The wheel teeth are as sharp at 218 pixels as at 454. Both gauges, the color of the movement, how long it runs after a wrist raise (10 seconds, 5 seconds or off) and the wake fade are all adjustable. A new lighting model. Every metal surface now reflects the light from where it actually falls, so the mainplate, the bridges and the wheels read as real metal instead of as flat shapes. The dimmed always-on movement was regraded on the same model and is now easier on the screen.
