Pause Time
· v1.1.1
About
Data field that shows how much stand / pause time you have already taken in the current activity. Especially useful for cycling and walking, so you can estimate how much rest you can still take.
If Pause Time is useful on your rides or walks, you can leave a voluntary tip to support maintenance and updates:
https://ko-fi.com/jrdevdesign
The app is and stays fully free. Tips are optional, not required, and do not unlock any features.
Shows on the watch:
• Cumulative pause / stand time (mm:ss or h:mm:ss)
• Dark gray background while you are paused or standing still
Counts:
• Manual pause / stop
• Auto-pause
• Standing still while the timer is still running (speed below ~1 km/h)
Garmin Connect:
After installing from the Connect IQ Store, Pause Time writes Connect IQ developer fields into the FIT file (activity summary and chart, in seconds). Sync your activity to see them in Garmin Connect. Sideloaded builds do not show Connect IQ fields in Connect.
How to use:
1. Add Pause Time to a data page (1-field layout is easiest to read).
2. Start your activity and begin recording.
3. Enable Auto Pause for cycling/walking if you want stops counted automatically.
Notes:
• Standing-still detection needs GPS speed (or cadence when available).
• Without speed/cadence data, only timer pause/stop time is counted.
• Requires recording an activity with this data field visible on a data page.
What's new
Fixes a crash on Edge 550/850/1050 (firmware 32.20) when long-pressing the data field and tapping the pencil. Moves the PAUSE label under the time so the Edge pause border does not cover it.
