N13 Elite - Performance Dashboard Watch Face

Training Status language Notice Training Status currently recognises English device-language values only. On Garmin devices set to another language, the field may display NO STATUS because Garmin provides the status to Connect IQ as translated text rather than a language-independent status code. Support for additional languages is being investigated. As a temporary workaround, set the Garmin device language to English. N13 Elite is a high-information watch face built for athletes and data-focused users who want structure, fast readability, and useful performance data in one view. Its six-zone layout keeps time, weather, battery, daily activity, training status, recovery, and notifications organised without turning the screen into a cluttered dashboard. ## TIME AND DAILY OVERVIEW The upper section combines the main time and date with a compact daily summary. It includes: * 12-hour or 24-hour time * Today distance * Week-to-date distance * Current temperature * Precipitation chance * Battery percentage * Estimated battery time remaining The full-width battery bar provides a clear visual indication of the remaining charge. ## CONFIGURABLE METRICS Three independent performance fields can be configured from the settings. Available data includes: * Steps * Calories * Heart Rate * Body Battery Each field can be assigned separately, allowing you to build the layout around the metrics you check most often. Calories can be displayed using Total, Active, or Auto mode. ## TRAINING STATUS The lower performance section shows your current Training Status using a four-zone gauge and clear status text. Supported states include: * Recovery * Peaking * Productive * Maintaining * Unproductive * Strained * Overreaching * Detraining When no supported status is available, the field remains neutral instead of displaying an invented result. ## RECOVERY TIME Recovery Time is displayed below the Training Status gauge. Short recovery periods are shown in hours. Longer periods are shown using days and hours. When recovery is complete, the watch face displays Fully Recovered. ## NOTIFICATIONS The bottom section shows the current notification count. Tap the notification area to open the watch notification list directly. ## COLOR THEMES Choose from three complete visual themes: * Deep Ocean * Tactical Stealth * Premium Monolithic Each theme changes the background, panel colours, primary text, and secondary text while preserving the same six-zone structure. ## DISPLAY SETTINGS Available settings include: * Colour theme * 12-hour or 24-hour time * Kilometres or miles * Three configurable metric fields * Total, Active, or Auto calorie mode The layout adjusts to the current screen dimensions, while selected compact displays use a smaller label font to preserve spacing and readability. ## EFFICIENT DATA REFRESH N13 Elite uses cached data and controlled refresh intervals to reduce unnecessary processing. Battery, notifications, distance, Training Status, and Recovery Time are refreshed at minute-level intervals. Weather and Body Battery use separate controlled refresh periods, while Heart Rate updates more frequently only when the display is active. Low-power mode avoids unnecessary sensor-history reads and reuses the most recent valid data. N13 Elite delivers time, activity, weather, training, recovery, and notification data in one structured performance dashboard.

v1.0.4 — VO2 Max and live Training Status refresh VO2 Max is now available as a Metric Field option. When Garmin provides a running VO2 Max value, it displays here. Training Status and Recovery Time now update immediately when Garmin publishes a new value, instead of waiting for the next minute-based refresh. Battery Bar Color is now customizable.
