REALvario – Sailplane Flight Aid

WARNING: The app is intended only as an in-flight aid and should not be used as a primary information source. If the app contains a barometric altimeter, it will not function in a pressurized aircraft and should not be used in a pressurized aircraft. REALvario is an auxiliary vertical-speed and altitude-reference display intended exclusively for non-pressurized sailplane soaring. It is designed for supported Garmin watches equipped with the required positioning and barometric sensors. It is not certified flight instrumentation and must never replace approved aircraft instruments, procedures, pilot judgment, or other primary sources of flight and safety information. Barometric accuracy can be affected by open cockpit vents, ram-air ventilation, cabin leaks, rapid airflow around the watch, and pressure changes inside the cockpit. These effects may cause substantial and unpredictable altitude and vertical-speed errors, especially when airspeed or airflow changes. Never rely on this app for flight decisions. The app processes sensor and positioning data locally on the watch and does not collect or transmit personal data.
