Total Ascent Descent for Caving (Without GPS)

This data field measures the total ascent and descent, even for activities without GPS. The type of movement does not matter; it takes both natural and artificial elevation changes into account (e.g., elevators). On the device, the current total ascent and total descent are displayed, while in Garmin Connect, they are shown in a summarized and graphical form, along with the complete elevation profile.
