What's new
Easy Timer makes setting a countdown effortless. Instead of fiddly lists and menus, you get a full-screen grid of large preset tiles you tap directly — and a custom timer you build in just a few taps.

###What's New — v1.0.32
By popular request, the preset tiles are now yours to change. Long-press any preset to set your own time — or edit them in Settings → Edit presets — and it's saved for next time. Your custom presets show in the accent color so they're easy to spot. Settings also adds Reset presets to bring back the defaults.
###What's New — v1.0.31
- As requested from users, the running timer now shows the time of day. A clock — in your watch's 12/24-hour format — sits above the countdown so you can keep an eye on the time without leaving the timer, and it keeps ticking even while the timer is paused. A small sun or moon icon appears before it to show day or night — using your watch's exact sunrise/sunset when available, and the local time of day otherwise. No extra permissions.
###What's new —1.0.29 Foreground-only build
- Background mode removed. After a deeper investigation we could not meet the reliability bar for an in-background alert on every supported device: on several models (incl. FR165) the firmware silences custom haptic and audio fired from a background process, and the only channel that gets through (system notification) does not produce a loud enough alert. Rather than ship a half-working experience we rolled back to a clean foreground-only timer. Keep the app open while the timer runs.
- Stronger finish alert: louder repeated tone (4 beeps over ~2s) plus two-burst vibration that bypasses Do Not Disturb on most devices.
- Audio fixed on FR165 / piezo-beeper Forerunners and Fenix non-Pro via a dual-API call (custom-frequency tone + classic loud beep fallback) so the alert is now audible on every supported device.
- Consistent button-focus navigation across Custom, Running and Finished screens — UP/DOWN moves focus, START activates.
- Settings → About now shows the actual installed app version.
- Layout polish on round MIP displays (FR955, fenix non-Pro): the +30s / +1m / +5m / +30m labels sit clearly inside each tile, the accent color is now palette-safe, and tile pills are restored.
###What's new (v1.0.14)
Ui Fixes.
###What's new (v1.0.8)
Second fix for the Forerunner 55 startup crash. Version 1.0.7 still showed the "IQ!" error screen on real fr55 hardware because the first render of each screen built its layout cache by sampling 25 points per tile — fast enough in the simulator but still over the watchdog budget on the fr55's CPU. The centroid math is now closed-form (no loops, no allocations, ~constant time per tile), so layouts build instantly on any device. Visually identical to before on every supported watch.
Features:
Preset grid: 30s, 1m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h — one tap to start.
Custom timer: quick-add chips (+30s, +1m, +5m, +30m, +1h) with tap-and-hold to add fast. Supports timers over 24 hours.
Running screen: large digits with a progress ring around the edge, plus tiles to add time on the fly, pause/resume, and stop.
Finish alert: a pulsing "time's up" screen with the watch's start/stop activity tones and vibration.
Settings: toggle sound, set vibration length (up to 5s), and an end-warning beep in the final seconds. Your settings are remembered.
Works with both the touchscreen and the physical buttons.
Designed for round displays and built to scale, so it looks right on 100+ Garmin watches — from compact 240px screens to large 454px AMOLED.
