A large clock in the middle, ringed by sixty dots that light one per second - switch them off if you would rather. Around it, twelve slots: ten data cells and two small status squares. You choose what goes in each one from your phone, and one switch puts them all back the way they shipped. Twenty-two readings - twenty for each data cell, four for the status squares: - Battery, and estimated days remaining - Steps, calories, stress, Body Battery, heart rate - Temperature, today's high and low, humidity, UV index, pressure - Sunrise and sunset - Date - Recovery time, 5 km race prediction, weekly running distance - A seven-day step chart, with any day that hit its goal picked out - Bluetooth, do not disturb, notifications and alarms COLOURS Four themes - Seafoam, Sunrise, Rainforest and Ember - each a matched pair: a lighter tone for the clock and its ring, a deeper one for the icons. Or choose Custom and set two of your own as hex. BUILT FOR THE SCREEN IT IS ON The layout is computed from the real size of the digits on your watch rather than positioned by hand, so nothing crowds the bezel - the same face on a 260 pixel fenix as on a 454 pixel venu. On AMOLED the always-on view drops to a dimmed clock that shifts position every minute, so nothing burns in, and the seconds ring relights one dot rather than redrawing the whole face. WHAT SOME READINGS NEED - Weather (temperature, high and low, humidity, UV, pressure): a recent weather sync from your phone. - Sunrise and sunset: a position fix. - Body Battery, heart rate and stress: the watch worn, with the optical sensor on. - Recovery time, race prediction and weekly distance: your watch's own metrics, which not every model produces. Most readings show "--" until they have a value, so you can see a slot is working before its first reading arrives. Notifications, alarms, Bluetooth and do not disturb show nothing rather than zero, because a permanently lit envelope tells you nothing. Installing asks for location, sensor history and complications - for the sunrise, Body Battery, and the recovery and race readings. Nothing leaves the watch.
