Dot Matrix
· v1.2.0
About
A watch face inspired by classic LED dot-matrix displays. The time is rendered digit by digit using a faithful 5×7 dot grid, with hour and minute hands built from dots that radiate inward from the bezel — giving it the feel of an old scoreboard or departure board, but on your wrist.
Four complication slots — top, bottom, left, and right — let you put the data you actually check at a glance. The side slots (left/right) support visual gauge variants: a 4-dot battery meter and a 7-dot weekday strip that highlights today, so you get at-a-glance context without numbers cluttering the display.
Complications available:
Battery, Heart Rate, Steps, Calories, Active Calories, Floors Climbed, Intensity Minutes, Notifications, Body Battery, Stress, Pulse Ox, Respiration Rate, Recovery Time, VO2max (Run & Bike), Training Status,
Weekly Run & Bike Distance, Date, Date + Week strip, Week Number, Calendar Events, Current Temperature, Temperature High/Low, Humidity, Time Zone, Seconds, Phone Connection.
Settings (configurable on-watch or via Garmin Connect):
- Theme color — White, Cyan, Yellow, Neon Green, Pink, Orange, Purple, Red
- Top, Bottom, Left, and Right complication slot — independently assignable
- Left/Right slots also support Battery (Gauge), Battery + Value, and Date + Week strip variants
Works across color, limited-palette (FR55-style), and true monochrome displays (Instinct series), with the gauge and dial adapted automatically per display type.
