About

If you like this app, I would really appreciate a review! The Avalanche Forecast widget displays the latest avalanche forecast from your regions of choice in Norway and Sweden. The data is downloaded from varsom.no and the avalanche forecast service in Norway, and lavinprognoser.se the avalanche forecast service in Sweden. You can view timelines of forecasts for the regions you are interested in, as well as detailed forecasts with avalanche problems for your selected regions. The watch will automatically show the forecast for the closest area depending on where you are. The forecasts are stored on the watch, and are available when you are out on tour or without your phone. A subscription of 30 NOK per year is required to use the app, and you can sign up and pay at https://www.skredvarsel.app/ (https://bit.ly/3TJtDGx). You can pay with Vipps, Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other payment providers. Use the warnings, data and maps at your own risk. Errors and omissions may be present. A warning is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. Adjust your own risk by choosing where, when and how you travel. Warnings are regional and based on available observations and weather forecasts. Conditions may be complex and differ from the warning. The watch will use GPS or weather location, and show the forecast for the closest "Type A"-forecast area. This means that if you are outside of a region that receives avalanche warnings, you will be shown the warnings from the closest area that are given avalanche forecasts. Since that is how it's shown on varsom.no 1.7.3 * Add support for Fenix 7 Pro and Epix 2 Pro
