Cosmos turns your watch into a small, living orrery — our own solar system, arranged for beauty rather than astronomical scale. The planets drift slowly through the day, the whole system turning about once from midnight to midnight, so the sky you glance at after lunch is not the sky you woke up to. Mercury hugs the centre; Jupiter wears its banded clouds; Saturn carries its rings; Earth is a blue marble; a faint asteroid belt scatters between the inner and outer worlds. At the heart of it a jewel-like sun breathes in time with your resting heart rate and glows brighter or softer with your Body Battery. It is fully procedural and drawn for a true-black AMOLED screen, so the space actually looks like space. It stays calm and readable. A clean digital time and date sit quietly over the sky, set in a custom-baked, smoothly anti-aliased typeface, and slim, edge-hugging complications line the rim. Choose each one from a broad catalogue — heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate zone, steps, calories, active calories, floors, distance, ascent, descent, Body Battery, stress, respiration, temperature, elevation, pressure, battery, notifications and date, a full live-weather suite (feels-like, humidity, precipitation, wind, UV index, high and low, dew point, and sunrise and sunset), plus deeper Garmin health readouts: sleep score, VO2 max, recovery time and race predictions. Each has its own crisp on-device icon. Colour them with one of six palettes and nineteen accent colours, and engrave the bezel with constellations. There are no ticking seconds, by design, to spare your battery. Reach your daily step goal and the system gives you a small, daily-changing reward — a new planet revealed on an outer orbit, a meteor shower passing through, a quiet ship joining the orbits, or your planets gaining extra moons. A gentle nod, not a fireworks show, and you can switch it off for a purely ambient sky. Pick your time separator to suit your region, choose how much the always-on screen shows, and let it drift. The always-on display is burn-in-safe; temperature follows your Celsius or Fahrenheit setting, distance your kilometres or miles, the clock your 12 or 24-hour setting.
