Timer Widget

A repeating timer widget, e.g. for interval exercises or stretching. ONLY FOR SHORT INTERVAL TIMES! For Vivoactive and Venu models only very short intervals, as these devices return to the watch screen after 30 seconds already. As this is a widget, it is very quick to access, but can only work for intervals shorter than one or two minutes, depending on the device type: a widget returns to the watch screen after this short period if you don't interact with it, so you have to press Start/Stop every now and then. As soon as you open the widget, it starts counting from the set time to zero. This is repeated until the widget stops. During any count down, you can press Start/Stop to start from the set time again. If the widget does not behave as you expected, please contact the developer, so the issue can be fixed or clarified. You can set the time using the Menu button on the watch and in the settings on the Connect App or in Garmin Express. With the Menu button, you can also disable the beeps. If disabled, the device will only vibrate when it reaches 0. Note that beeping is not supported on all devices, and on some devices, you have to set Settings - System - Sounds - Alert Tones to 'On'. Aside from the remaining seconds, it shows the number of repetitions and the clock time. If you need more features, better use one of the many Apps. For interval exercises, set the time to the exercise time, start exercising until zero. Take some rest, the timer tells how long it was, press Start/Stop again when you start the next exercise.
