About

Vemera Helm is an analog watch face built for time on the water. Ink navy, antique gold and cream. Applied markers, a spar-family hand set and a GMT second hand tipped in signal red. Every element on the dial measures something — nothing is there for decoration alone. What it shows Wind — speed and bearing, marked on the ring by an arrow that points the way the wind blows, with chart-style feathers on its tail counting the strength and an open ring for calm. Choose knots, m/s, km/h, mph or Beaufort. Pressure trend — the three-hour tendency a skipper actually plans by. Chevrons and a plain reading: rising, steady, falling, falling fast. Shown in hPa or inHg. Sunset — computed for your position, in your watch's own 12- or 24-hour format. Fog indicator — appears only when the air is close to saturation or fog is reported. Clear conditions leave the dial clean. Date — a gold-framed porthole at three o'clock. Built for the panel Low power renders pure black. This is a deliberate choice to protect AMOLED panels from burn-in rather than dim the day dial. Five signature dials Vemera Ink, Deep Fathom, Verdigris, Storm Slate and Tarred Rope — each mixed for this face, none of them a stock colour. Settings Dial, wind unit, pressure unit and wordmark visibility. Settings are localised in ten languages; the dial itself reads in English. How to read the wind indicator: The ring is a compass rose with north at the gold chevron above twelve. Hold your wrist so that chevron points north, and the arrow shows the wind as it lies in the water around you. Vemera Studio builds a small portfolio of prestige watch faces — Vemera Dress, Vemera Summit, Glass and Gold Victoria are also on the store. Privacy policy and terms: vemerastudio.com
