WASTELAND TERMINAL
· v1.0.0
About
WASTELAND TERMINAL turns your Garmin watch face into a green-phosphor LCD terminal
from another era. Like a rugged field device powering up: when you raise your wrist,
the display runs a brief LCD power-on self-test, lighting all segments before the
live face appears.
**Four data fields in terminal style**
- RADS: Heart rate (latest reading)
- PWR: Battery percentage
- STEP: Steps today
- TEMP: Ambient temperature (when available)
Each value renders right-aligned over its ghost segment, exactly like a real LCD
display. The date strip shows day-of-week, date, and day-of-year.
**Fixed color or goal-reactive mode**
In fixed mode the terminal glows in one constant color: green (phosphor classic),
amber, ice (cool blue), or red.
In goal mode the entire face reacts to your daily progress via an automatic color
ramp: Red (below 34%) - Ice (34-66%) - Amber (67-99%) - Green (100%). Choose your
target metric: steps, active minutes, floors climbed, or Body Battery.
The progress ring along the bezel always shows the current value as a clockwise arc.
**Permission note:** The SensorHistory permission is used for the optional Body
Battery goal metric. If you update from an older version of this watch face, you
will be prompted to re-confirm this permission once.
