Arc Diem

Arc Diem is inspired by the clocks found in video games like Stardew Valley and Recettear. These games manage time by giving each day a well-defined beginning and end, and mark out the time between those two points on an arc-shaped clock. The clock thus acts as a progress bar for your productive hours. Each day is treated as a valuable and finite resource. Arc Diem is designed to respect your own schedule, and help you respect it in turn. Is 8 AM "late morning" to you, or painfully early? Should you really treat noon as the "middle" of your day? If you stay up past your bedtime, how much of your sleep time have you sacrificed? Arc Diem makes these things easy to see in a fun way. How to configure: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/connect-iq/connect-iq-showcase/115055-how-to-app-settings?332843-How-to-App-Settings Features: - Unique semicircular dial that traces the duration between your Wake and Bed times in your Garmin profile (edit these in Garmin Express or the phone app). - Alternately, in the Watchface Settings, you can choose to use local sunrise and sunset times instead. If the hand is missing, you need to update your GPS data so it will have the right times (just run any GPS app or widget for a few seconds). The display will also look a little different if you're near the north or south poles during a solstice, when sunrise and sunset don't exist. - Meter showing your progress towards the day's step goal. At 100%, it turns green. - Optional heart rate display. - Low battery icon that appears at 40% by default; select any percentage you like in the Watchface Settings. - Crossed-out Bluetooth icon that appears when connection with the phone is lost. - Optional display of realistic moon phases on the nighttime dial. (Not available on 16-color round watches; the extra artwork uses a lot of memory.) If this option is not used, the moon will be a stylized crescent.
