Train better with windbro.app! This app will help you beat your top speed. Focus on riding, this simple app will alert you (sound and vibration) when your max speed is overcome. The display shows max speed (top), current speed (middle), and distance (bottom). You can choose the speed and distance units, and the session will be recorded (Garmin Connect) with your sport of choice. BUTTONS SETTINGS (up long press): Alert speed, Alert configuration (sound, vibrate), Speed units (knots, km/h, mph, m/s), Distance units (km, nautical miles, miles), Satellite configuration (GPS only, GPS + Galileo, GPS + Glonass), Activity Type (Sailing, Kitesurf, Windsurf, SUP, Generic), Reset to Defaults, Help, About BACK: Lap (reset max speed), Discard(exit), Save(Exit) Selected values are maintained across sessions. Change Activity Type at the beginning of the session - previous activity data before changing this setting will not be stored. To enable Alerts you might need to enable them at the watch level, at "Settings / System / Sounds / Alert Tones: ON" (sound) and "Settings / System / Sounds / Vibration: ON" (vibration). Also in the app, in the ALERTS menu sound and vibration need to be enabled to your preference. Activity will be logged into Garmin Connect - exit the app by clicking on the "Save (Quit)" option in the quick menu (press BACK). You can also choose to not record the session - use the "Discard (Quit)" option. Optimized for 5-button Garmin watches like Fenix and Forerunner series, usable in others. In some touch devices, buttons like up and down are substituted by swipes, and the menu might be accessed through a BACK long press. In Fenix and Forerunner a long press of the BACK button will bring you to the watch, press BACK again to return to the app. The app is free.
