GAM Race

Race app for the Gent-All-Men Pilot Gig Rowing team. Purpose of the app is to create a FIT file with the length of the race for comparison with other teams. On start up, the length of the race has to be set. Button up/down or swipe up/down changes the race length with 100 meters. Min race length is 100m, max race length is 20.000m. Pressing the start/stop button accepts the length and the race length changes from reversed video to normal. Once the GPS signal is acceptable/good, the race triangle appears and pressing the start/stop button changes the screen to the race screen. The race screen has speed, average speed, race time, distance and distance to go. Once the speed is above 5km/h recording of the FIT file starts and the race has started. Time is now running. Pressing the start/stop button selects the race menu with option to reset (in case of an early start), continue or quit. When the race distance has been rowed, the watch vibrates for 3 seconds and the FIT file is automatically saved. The screen changes to the info screen. Max speed, average speed, race time and race length are displayed. Pressing the start/stop button presents the exit menu. Every 500m lap time and speed are shown for that 500m. The watch vibrates according to the lap speed. Once for speeds less then 10km/h, twice for speeds between 10 and 11 km/h and 3 times for speeds above 11 km/h.
