Orbits SEM (Sun/Earth/Moon) V2
· v2.1.0
About
This is an upgrade of the Orbits SEM watchface. This tellurium watchface shows the relative position of the sun, earth and moon. It illustrates basic astronomical concepts including day time, night time, solar noon, solstices, equinoxes and high/low/spring/neap tides.
# Features
* Analog time with 3D appearance hands or 12/24 hour digital time
* Displays orbits and relative positions of the earth and moon
* Display the moon phase as seen from the earth (for northern and southern hemispheres) or shadow seen from the North Star
* Time of year shown on circumference with the December solstice on the left, June solstice on the right, March equinox at the bottom, and September equinox at the top.
* Solar disc showing sunrise, sunset, solar noon, dawn and dusk
* Day of the week and day of the month display
* Customizable hand color
Color selection instructions: https://ko-fi.com/post/Entering-numerical-color-settings-I3I5N1TZJ
* Power save during sleeping hours option
NOTE: Although the earth and moon orbits are actually elliptical, if drawn to scale on the watch display, the elliptical shape would be close to imperceptible. Thus the orbits are drawn as circles.
# PRO Version Features
* Customizable day, night, and dawn/dusk colors
* Radial line on the earth shows your current longitude position
* Leap year indicator
* Rotating data display selections:

* Option to display tide level and direction indicator (For educational purposes only). The solid pointer is based on either Stormglass.io, worldtides.info or NOAA tide forecast data. The outline blue pointer is the theoretical tide level and direction based on the moon's position and the lunitidal interval setting.
* Option to show/hide the Earth's night shadow
* Option to show time arc indicating when the moon is above the horizon. See https://ko-fi.com/post/Moon-Above-Horizon-Time-Arc-Added-to-Orbits-SEM-M4M51JXS11 for details
* Option to show the moon in blue when it is above the horizon. (in grey otherwise)
* Shows the moon in red/dark red during the day of a lunar eclipse
* Graphically show partial, annular or total solar eclipse during the day of a local solar eclipse. See: https://ko-fi.com/post/Orbits-SEM-Now-Displays-Solar-and-Lunar-Eclipses-K3K51P174P

What's new
Version 2.1.0
PRO version only change: Added optional hour markers. Added option to draw the sun and Earth in solid colors rather than photo images.
Version 2.0.0
PRO version only change: Changed the tide level and direction indication to be read from tide forecast sources (Stormglass.io, worldtides.info or NOAA). This is shown as a solid blue pointer. The outline blue pointer is the theoretical tide level and direction based on the moon's position and the lunitidal interval setting.
This feature requires (free) API key from https://stormglass.io/ or https://www.worldtides.info/garmin, OR setting a NOAA station ID. For NOAA, please use the following link where you can enter your latitude,longitude position to find the closest NOAA station ID to your location: https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/tide_predictions.html
Or alternatively on a map: https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/map/index.html
In order to conserve battery, tide data is only checked for once per hour. Therefore, it can take up to 1 hour after you have configured the settings and given the watchface your GPS position before the solid tide pointer will appear.
