About

Straight Line is a lightweight data field that helps you navigate to a destination on a most direct straight line. You can set up your destination (heading, distance) via Garmin Express or Connect/ConnectIQ apps or specify the start and end coordinates. Then the data field will show you how far are you from the centerline, distances from start and end and your deviation history. This is very helpful if you need to travel somewhere using heading or want to do a straight line mission. The data field works on a variety of devices. In the settings you can select "black and white" color mode for devices that do not have color screen and also more compact view for devices with smaller screens or in case you have selected a small data field. Try and experiment! Configurable options: * New line from current location - specify heading and distance * New line by specifying start and end coordinates * Screen color mode (Color or Black and White) * Compact, flashing view - the current deviation alternates with other statistics to fit on smaller screens * Horizontal line scale - how big is the distance from center to the edge * Tail storing interval - how often (in seconds) the tail is updated Next developments: * More user-friendly configuring via ConnectIQ * Tail map - instead of deviation history graph, the lower area would optionally show movement history as map
