About
[~ TIPS: Because one device only allow to connect to same device once, so if you want to configure PowerMeter Sensor ID manually, and show Balance/TE/PS, you need to disable Edge internal PowerMeter pairing ~]

Due to limitation of Memory size on Edge 520, I have create a Lite version.
Compared to FULL version:
1. Lite version does NOT support PowerBalance/TorqueEfficiency/Pedal Smoothness and Garmin Vector Phase graphic;
2. Lite version does NOT support configure detailed zone value (But still support set LTHR or FTP and automatically calculate zone).
Get LITE version from:
https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/94bee471-9e3b-45e6-bf2b-b41ea03b52a1

Functional Description:
1. Support colorful zone area for easier reading;
2. Support more meaningful Slope display;
3. Support configure zones with easy way (Just set LTHR or FTP) or configure zone detailed;
4. Support directly connect to ANT+ power sensor to retrieve Balance/Torque Effectiveness/Pedal Smoothness (ANT+ Code from Joel Cass);
Also you can just remain Power Meter ID as 0 to share System Power Meter data. BUT NOTICE the Phase data comes from simulation calculation but NOT actual data! (Simulation data shown as GREEN and actual data shown as BLUE)
[TIPS: Because one device only allow to connect to same device once, so if you want to use Balance/TE/PS, you need to disable Edge internal PowerMeter pairing]
5. Support DI2 gear information (Required CIQ 1.2.10 or newer);
6. Support Garmin Vector Phase graphic;
7. Support calculate NP. And will show NP and Average Power alternately.
-
Configuration Description:
Pre-Steps:
1. Connect your power meter with your Edge Device. And from Sensor - Info - ID, to get Power Meter Device ID, like 74256;
2. Measure your LTHR (Lactate Threshold Heart Rate) yourself;
3. Measure your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) yourself.
-
Configuration:
1. Use Connect Mobile App or Express software to configure parameters;
2. You MUST input Power Meter Sensor ID, otherwise Balance/TE/PS cannot be retrieved;
3. ONLY input LTHR and FTP value. Remaining ALL zones value as 0 to automatically generated;
4. Run and show the DateField once. And Zones value will be automatically calculated and updated;
5. If you want to manually configure your zone detailed, you can use App or Software to configure parameters again, and auto-calculated zone values will be there and can be modified.
-
Color and Zone Description:
Generally, Green Color means Competition Zone. And you can continually output around 1 hour.
If drop down into Blue or similar color, means your output lower than expected. Lighter means lower.
If raise to Yellow Color, means you enter Anaerobic Boundary Zone. So you can only continually output around 10 to 20 minutes.
If raise to Purple or Red color, means your output extremely high. And you can only continually output around 1 to 5 minutes.
-
Speed Meter / HR / Power:
1 - Bright Blue - 0 to 20km / HR Recovery / Power Recovery
2 - Light Blue - 20 to 30km / HR Endurance / Power Endurance
3 - Blue - 30 to 35km / HR Tempo / Power tempo
4 - GREEN - 35 to 40km / HR 4 zone Sub Threshold / Power Threshold (CP 20 to 60)
5 - Yellow - 40 to 45km / HR 5a zone Over Threshold / Power VO2Max (CP 12 to 20)
6 - Purple - 45 to 50km / HR 5b zone Anaerobic / Power Anaerobic (CP 6 to 12)
7 - Red - Over 50km / HR 5c zone Sprint Max / Power Sprint Max (CP 1 to 6)
-
Cadence Meter:
Light Blue - 0 to 50
Blue - 50 to 80
GREEN - 80 to 110
Yellow - 110 to 130
Red - Over 130
-
Slope Meter:
Light Blue - Negative slope
Green - 0% to 5%
Yellow - 6% to 10%
Pink - 11% to 15%
Red - Over 15%
(Beside color, at the bottom of Slope Rectangle border, contains actual Slope Graphic to make it easier to read)
What's new
Versions:
v1.7.8: Fix the crash issue on Edge 820 with 6.3 or later firmware. Fix the cadence not be shown if no power meter applied.
v1.7: BIG UPDATE! In this build, if setting PowerMeter ID as 0 will share system Power data including Effectiveness, Smoothness, and will base on Eff/Smooth to simulation calculate PowerPhase value. Which means that, like Stages meter also can show Phase graph! (ONLY requires Eff/Smooth value). But NOTICE that, it will ALWAYS use simulation PowerPhase value, so if you use Garmin Vector and want to see ACTUAL meter phase value, you still need to configure PowerMeter ID and disable system power meter. (Simulation data shown as GREEN and actual data shown as BLUE)
- Improve Slope calculation. Recently more accuracy, less problems.
v1.6: Make numbers larger to enhance readability. Enhance calculation of Speed meter, HR and Power meter, small values will also impact meter bar now.
v1.5: Update to SDK 2.1.2 to support latest firmware (later than 9.0).
v1.4: Add Lite Layouts (During Power Meter Sensor ID not configured or configured Sensor CANNOT connected).
v1.3: Optimize Slope value with averaged 3 seconds value to make the value more smooth.
v1.2: Add support for Power Phase. Sync version number of Lite version
v0.6: Add support Landscape mode
v0.5: Add support real-time power value show as __ seconds average
v0.4: Add NP calculation and alternate NP with AVP
v0.2: Add support Edge 820 layouts
v0.1: Test version
