Save The Kitties by walking!

Your step count, living on your wrist as a colony of tiny cats. Every 1,000 steps a kitten turns up in a cardboard box and moves in. The colony wanders, yawns and naps all day, growing to 26 pets plus your own cat and a secret (fewer on some older watches, see below). Pets never die or leave; only merges take them. Still in active development: requests and ratings welcome. FIVE TIERS 5 kittens merge into a Super (bigger, gold name tag), 5 Supers into a Deluxe (bow tie, top hat or glasses), 5 Deluxes into a King (crown), 5 Kings into a God (halo). CATS OR DOGS Or switch to dogs, who merge the same way: 20 breeds, each drawn its own way - German Shepherd, Border Collie, Corgi, Labrador, Pug, Husky, Golden Retriever, Beagle, Dachshund, Chihuahua, Boxer, Dalmatian, Rottweiler, Shiba Inu, Great Dane, French Bulldog, Australian Shepherd, Pomeranian, Saint Bernard, Poodle. A LIVING PARK On colour watches, pick black or the park. The sky follows the real day and moon phase, real weather brings clouds, rain or snow, and more pets sleep at night. A skyline for every day: Eiffel Tower (Mon), beach sunrise (Tue), Pyramids (Wed), city street (Thu), mountains (Fri), Big Ben (Sat), Taj Mahal (Sun). 26 METRICS Three fields, each one of: steps, distance, calories, active minutes, floors, step goal %, heart rate, resting HR, Body Battery, stress, VO2 Max run, VO2 Max bike, weekly steps / distance / run / ride / calories / floors / active minutes, steps to next pet, battery, date, goal streak, progress to next merge, colony age, pets raised. An edge ring fills towards your next pet. End a day under 5,000 steps and one pet spends the next day glum under a rain cloud, unless Happy mode is on. SETTINGS Background, pet type, panel colour (purple, blue, teal, green, crimson, amber, slate, pink, outline), clock digits or text in 3 sizes with optional seconds, date on/off in 3 sizes and 3 formats, 12h/24h/auto, Happy mode, next-pet ring. YOUR OWN CAT Choose one of 15 coats (tabby brown, grey/ginger/cream tabby, black, black and white, grey, grey and white, ginger, white, cream, calico, tortoiseshell, siamese, bengal) and a name of up to 8 letters. It wears a gold star and is never merged. Coat Off removes it. SURPRISES Walk on and rarer coats and breeds join the crowd, and the park gains extras, all unannounced. One secret resident, neither cat nor dog, comes from a hidden milestone or a code. NEW WATCH? Your colony is saved on the watch. To move it, turn on Show save code and enter that 7-character code as the Secret code on the new watch. A code only ever adds pets.
