Captain21 WX

Captain21 WX is a compact aviation weather application designed for pilots and aviation enthusiasts using Garmin Instinct 3 Solar watches. Select your favorite ICAO airport stations and quickly view: • Current METAR information • Raw METAR and TAF reports • Flight category: VFR, MVFR, IFR or LIFR • Wind direction and speed • Visibility • Present weather • Multiple cloud layers • Temperature and dew point • QNH pressure • METAR observation age • Cached weather when a connection is temporarily unavailable Airport stations can be configured through the app settings or edited directly on the watch. Weather information is retrieved through the paired phone’s internet connection. Captain21 WX uses a compact monochrome interface developed specifically for the 176 × 176 pixel Garmin Instinct 3 Solar display. IMPORTANT: Captain21 WX provides advisory weather information only. It is not approved for operational flight planning, navigation or safety-critical decisions. Always verify weather information using official aviation sources before flight.
