Tide 4a Analog
· v1.0.4
About
An analog marine chronometer with the tide under your hands.
Tide 4a Analog puts the Tide 4a engine on an analog dial: railway minute track, a 12-hour forecast ring where the hour hand points at the current hour's weather, a wind bezel colored by strength, and the tide curve in the centre.
Offline tide prediction, worldwide — harmonic constants of the nearest tide gauge (2,400+ stations) computed on the watch; works for weeks with no phone once synced. Verified against published tide tables to within minutes.
12-hour forecast ring: each cell sits where the hour hand will be at that hour and shows wind speed with a direction chevron, the weather icon and temperature; the bezel arc behind it is colored by wind strength (up to 5 / 6–10 / over 10 m/s).
Tide block: curve −6…+10 h, countdown to the next high/low water with the height delta, the next two events with times and heights (m or ft).
Moon phase, sunrise/sunset, heart rate, steps, battery in days (solar on MIP solar models). Barometer with storm alert when far from the sea.
Four hand styles (sword, dauphine, sabre, arrow), optional seconds hand. AMOLED: metal hands, glow, always-on display with burn-in protection.
°C/°F, m/ft, m/s or knots, mmHg/hPa. English, Russian, French, Spanish.
Requires a phone paired with the Garmin Connect app for weather and tide updates; once synced, tide prediction keeps working with no phone.

Tide predictions are for general information only — not for navigation or dive planning. Tide constants: TICON-4 (DGFI-TUM, CC-BY-4.0, https://www.seanoe.org/data/00980/109129/). Weather: MET Norway (api.met.no, NLOD/CC-BY-4.0) and Open-Meteo. Location coordinates are sent only to the developer's proxy to fetch weather and tide data; nothing is stored.
