About

This data field shows your average power over the selected interval (10 sec, 30 sec, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes). It is great help to use it for those longer steady-state rides or races where you do not want to see the current power but rather something more smooth. The data field left and right border will light green if your current FloatPower is within 10 watts of your average power for an interval three-times as long, e.g. if your interval is set as 1 minute, then the background will be highlighted when the 1-minute power is within 10 watts of your 3-minute power. The threshold can be set in settings, or highlighting disabled at all, if preferred. Note that this is only available on newer devices (Edge 540/840/1040 and to some point Edge 130/130Plus) The data field may record the FloatPower into the FIT file for review post-ride.
