HOW TO UNLOCK When you use the widget for the first time, you will see a six-digit code on a black background. This is the code for the payment system. If you are purchasing, enter the code at https://kzl.io and follow the payment instructions. If you are unlocking a widget that you have already purchased, enter the code at https://kzl.io/unlock with the email address you used for payment. UPLOADING QR CODES Make sure your phone is connected and has a good network because the widget borrows your phone's Internet to obtain the QR code image. Use the widget menu to select the QR you want to upload, there are also menu options to replace images you have already uploaded. You should then see a six-digit code on a WHITE background. This is your upload code. Use the upload code with the web form linked below to upload a QR image, there is also a link on that page to enter the QR content directly as text. https://gdcsoft.com/qr/upload ENTERING Vcard All Vcard data is stored in widget settings, giving you complete control over your Vcard. Make sure your phone is connected and has a good network to allow the widget to download a new Vcard QR if you make changes. PARKRUN Enter your Parkrun number in widget settings to display your Parkrun barcode. OTHER BAR CODES All other bar codes, and labels for each bar code, are defined in widget settings. Make sure your phone is connected and has a good network if you make changes so the widget can download a new image. WIDGET SETTINGS Settings are accessed via one of the Garmin apps: Garmin ConnectIQ Garmin Express Garmin Connect Click on your device in the Garmin app and then find installed widgets and look for the QR and Vcard widget, then settings. Make any changes and then save and sync. ANSWERS TO FAQS The two devices I have used it with are FR735xt and Fenix 6x. Despite the small screen, scanning codes has worked well for me and it gets better as shops improve their scanning tools. I calculate the largest QR image that can accurately display for your device. It may appear that there is white space around the image but it is better to have a pixel-perfect and readable small image than a blurred and unreadable larger one. All modern Garmin devices will store QR and bar code images on your device. Older devices (CIQ2 and below) such as FR235, FR735xt do not support image storage so will download the codes each time.
