Watch face use Garmin built-in temperature (works only on newer devices ), shown exactly the same as you see in the built-in weather widget.

The weather conditions (day/night) change at the same time as the sun sets/rises, otherwise at 18.00 / 06.00.
To enable the sunrise/sunset you need GPS location. Just go to any activity that uses GPS and wait until GPS ready/green, then exit the activity. Note that you will need to repeat this after changing your location, otherwise the displayed information will reflect your last location.
