I read the "24-hour" setting from your watch to decide whether to display 2PM as II or XIV etc. 2. Roman numerals have no zero, so for 24-hour clock between 12 midnight and 1, there will be no hour displayed. For 12-hour clock, I will display XII between 12 and 1. 3. Roman numerals have no zero, so the first minute of every hour will display no minutes!
