About

An analog watch face with a black background and a dark red panel across one quarter of the dial. The hour numbers are large and set in a heavy typeface, so the time stays readable at a glance and in low light. There are four round dials. You can set three of them to show heart rate, steps, battery, Body Battery, stress, calories, floors, distance or temperature. The fourth always shows the date. Values are printed in a large size that fills each dial, and every dial uses the same size so the face stays even. Labels are curved around the top of each dial to leave more room for the number. The always on display shows the hands, the hour markers and one line of text on a black background. An optional pixel shift moves everything slightly each minute to reduce the risk of screen burn in. Requires a 454 x 454 AMOLED watch. See the compatible device list. Body Battery and stress show two dashes if your watch does not record them. Temperature needs a recent weather sync from your phone and follows your watch's own unit setting.

What's new

New in this update: five colour themes (the original carmine red, plus deep teal, forest green, plum and a near monochrome graphite), six hand colours, and five number fonts for the dial, values and date. Every theme keeps the same ink background and every combination is checked for contrast, so the time and the data stay readable whichever you pick. All of it can be changed on the watch itself; newer watches use Garmin's watch face editor (hold the face and choose customise), the rest get a built in Settings menu, or from the Garmin Connect app. Distance now keeps its decimal up to 99.9.
