About

Endure Companion is the data field used by athletes coached by Endure.LabbS. During an activity it shows the race plan agreed with your coach on your wrist and sends telemetry to the dashboard your coach watches live. AN ENDURE.LABBS ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED This app is a tool for athletes coached by Endure.LabbS. Without an active account it has no plan to show and nowhere to send data: the screen displays "SEM PLANO" (no plan) and states what is missing. There is no sign-up, login or purchase inside the app. Free on the store; the coaching service is contracted separately. THE RACE PLAN ON YOUR WRIST In a single-sport race the watch does fine on its own. In a duathlon or triathlon it does not: it cannot know that your second run is shorter than the first, or which pace was agreed for each leg. That is the gap this field closes. During the race the screen shows the current leg by name and in the real order (Run 1, Bike, Run 2), its average pace in the unit of the sport (min/km, km/h, min/100 m), the target pace agreed with your coach — with an arrow and a colour showing whether you are above, on or below it — and how much is left, plus heart rate. Leg changes are detected automatically, with no input. In a structured single-sport workout, the field follows the workout loaded on the watch, step by step, with each step's name and target. The race plan only takes over the screen from the day before the race to the day after. Before that the field simply shows that it arrived and how many days are left; afterwards it expires on its own — a stored plan never takes over your Tuesday run. The field follows the watch theme. When a structured workout reaches its end, the field says so — and it tells apart two things that are not the same: completing the plan is reaching the last step; ending is you stopping and saving, which can happen halfway. ANT+ SENSORS (optional) With the sensors paired to the watch, the field reads two ANT+ profiles and forwards them to the Endure HUD phone display: - Bike Radar: vehicles approaching from behind and the distance of the nearest one. Shown when cycling. - Running Dynamics: stride length, ground contact time, vertical oscillation and vertical ratio (HRM-Pro, RD Pod). Without the sensors none of this appears: what is not measured is not shown. TELEMETRY FOR THE COACH During group sessions the field sends activity data once per second to the Endure.LabbS server, and the coach follows every athlete on one dashboard. The path is always the same: the watch hands data to the phone over the Garmin Connect bridge, and the phone hands it to our server. Without the Endure Companion Android app running, nothing leaves the watch. WHY EACH PERMISSION IS REQUESTED - Communications: to fetch your race plan and send telemetry to your coach. Without it the app has no function. - User Profile: to read your heart rate zones from the watch profile, so the phone display can use them without you typing anything. Read only; the field never changes your profile. - ANT: to read the ANT+ profiles listed above. With no sensor paired it has no effect. - Positioning: your position, for the coach's map. OFF by default; to turn it on use "Share location" in the app settings, in Garmin Connect. With it off only your position stops leaving the watch. WHAT YOU NEED - An active Endure.LabbS account. - The Endure Companion Android app, open and online. - Garmin Connect installed and connected to the watch: that bridge is how the field talks to the phone. KNOWN LIMITATIONS - The plan only reaches the watch with an activity screen open, the phone nearby and online. Worth opening the run screen for a few seconds the day before a race. - The multi-sport race plan is recent and still under field validation. PRIVACY Data collected goes to Endure.LabbS, not to Garmin. Garmin only distributes the app. Privacy policy: https://ajuda-endure-labbs.web.app/privacidade/ SUPPORT [email protected]
