"68%" doesn't tell you anything. Is that two more days, or six? You end up charging every night just in case. Your Garmin already estimates how long the battery will actually last. Almost no watch face shows it. This one puts it right under the time: 5.0d · 68% The ring around the edge empties as the battery drains, and changes colour on the way down - green while there is plenty, amber when it is worth a look, red when it matters. Below a day it switches to hours, because "0.4d" helps nobody. And when you drop below your threshold, the face gets out of the way: the date and the extra field disappear, and all that is left is the time and how much you have. 1.2.0 - the face no longer shows example numbers. Heart rate and Body Battery used to fall back to sample data when the watch had nothing to show, so you could be looking at numbers that were not yours. They are now simply left out until the watch has something real. Steps, calories and distance keep the fallback, because a brand new watch really does start at zero there.
